| My boss is in town for 2 weeks, so good times this week at work.
Except that he and I are now huddled over a single table with our
laptops. Hooray for showing love to your IT department. :(
Anyway, we decided to walk from one of our location back to the
corporate office on this lovely spring day and we started chatting
about shows on sci-fi stuff like ghosts and ufo's. Well My boss
mentioned a show with these men who were experts of UFOs. I had
to stop and ask myself "How do you become an expert on something that
you can get no formal training in?" Last time I checked, there
was no formal UFO training to because an expert in something that
really doesn't exist as far as we know. But in all honesty I
cannot defend a way to prove such a person wrong.
this seems like a sad idea, but then I thought "Wait, if one can claim
expertise in a field that has no formal training or rank. I can
claim such rank with no one to prove me wrong." So, we started
coming up with weird titles. Such as "expert in not walking on
cracks in the sidewalk." Lame I know, but it was still fun to
consider. Just the idea of claiming expertise raising interesting
questions about the idea of education and rank all together.
Anyway, lots of weird ideas going through my head these days.

| I'm weak, so weak. I broke down and bought a PSP. I was at
Best Buy, a salesperson was holding one and it was as if he had been
waiting for me. Thank heaven for product replacement plans, so if
it breaks i get a brand spanking new one.
I was "escorted" to the cashier by two employees to make sure I didn't
bolt out the door with it. My boss was with me and we jokingly
said I should get a balloon for making such a large purchase, since
they were decorating for some event. And what do you know, they
gave me one and my boss tied it to my backpack. I'm such a
dork. But I'm a happy dork now, with a shiny new PSP.
Oh yeah, I'm back on xanga now. Been gone too long.

| Geez! Almost two months since I last posted on here? Wow, my last post was regarding my first experience with the Halo 2 box. Heh, how far I have come. I am now on Xbox Live kicking arse at Halo 2. Level 11 is some areas, and climbing quickly in others. Joined another clan the other day.
Working today and looks like I'll be keeping my current work schedule during the next school semester with the way I was able to lay out my classes. Need to find a new apartment soon though. Lease ends at the beginning of March. Hoping to find a small place for myself and Strype.
The ex Melissa popped into my life again recently before I was back in Texas for a few days around the holiday, and yet again she has plowed through like a storm and left a lot of damage for me to fix in my life. I guess I'll never learn with her. I need to meet a nice girl in this crazy city.
Ok, back to work, just wanted to peek my head in and show signs of life. | | |
| The paper got finished, WOOT!! I touched Halo 2....a lot. And it was very good. There is more where that came from.

| Thursday morning at 12:37 am I am working on my rough draft paper for
my Psych of Terrorism class. I have a copy on Halo 2 sitting
under my bed, but through my ultra powerful sense of duty I am
not touching it until this paper is done and handed in. TORTURE I
TELL YOU, TORTURE!!!!
that is all.
